The Global Dangerous Goods team is seeking an experienced Program Manager that will work cross-functionally with key teams to execute our Dangerous Good’s (DG) Policy and Operations strategy. This role requires a strategic approach to problem solving with a view toward building large-scale, sustainable business processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Define and translate business needs and requirements into defined program roadmaps, strategies, and processes through collaboration with various internal stakeholders (technology, business management/owners, etc.) 
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders (vendor management, transportation, legal, fulfillment centers, learning, third-party consultants, and carriers to establish and iterate on program policies and process improvements
  • Define and own measuring, analyzing, and reporting key performance indicator that inform the success of relevant programs and initiatives
  • Establish operational and policy standard operating procedures
  • Communicate progress and report on our programs and initiatives to stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline
  • 3-5 years of dangerous goods programs and project experience
  • Subject matter expertise in dangerous goods; dangerous goods certification (49 CFR, IATA, DMM 601) a plus
  • Must have a strong focus on continuous improvement
  • Can identify problems quickly and formulate analysis to create solutions
  • Understand broader effect of program changes and can adjust strategies accordingly
  • Must be analytical and possess the ability to interpret and translate data of varying complexity
  • Must possess strong verbal & written communication skills and demonstrated experience presenting information at the senior leadership level
  • Must be able to work independently and autonomously
  • Advanced Excel skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Experience with SQL, Google Big Query, SAP BusinessObjects, and Advanced Query Tool
