Purpose
The Manager of Business Intelligence will support International Wealth Management by delivering insightful business analytics and strategic reporting to decision makers in head-office and in the countries, work with country teams to develop innovative insights and forecast future trends and support the division though the planning cycle.
1. Business Reporting
- Deliver insightful business analytics and strategic reporting to the business line’s Senior Management and decision makers.
- Work with country partners to access data sets when necessary
- Prepare information for Business Reviews, GWM Executive Meetings, Country Leadership Meeting, Executive Team meetings and adhoc as required
- Define process and timelines for the preparation of materials and ensure timelines are met.
2. Data Strategy & Business Intelligence: Lead the Business Intelligence and Portfolio Insights:
- Leverage existing data to generate new business insights helping the management team identify historical and future trends in international wealth management.
- Develop partnerships with in-country data teams to leverage additional data sources and insights.
- Work with Wealth Leaders and teams in-country to develop relevant reporting and understand the context behind trends.
- Support Senior Manager and Director in growing the BI function to ensure team has increasing access to the data necessary to make decisions and forecast business trends.
3. Planning: Develop and track the planning process for IWM to ensure clarity, consistency and timely deliverables
- Work with Finance, PMO and other relevant stakeholders to support the planning cycle for IWM including: Profit planning, SIP process, Head Office budget & allocations.
- Work with business heads in-country to ensure a detailed planning process and that their growth plans are in line with targets.
- Support Business Areas with data necessary in the assessment of project initiatives.
- Support the business case cycle and other key strategic initiatives where necessary.
4. Leadership
- Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
Education / Experience
- 2+ years of working experience in a data analytics or data management function and a completed undergraduate degree in a related field.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, ThinkCell and PowerBI
- Strong bilingual (English and Spanish) communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to communicate strategic and financial concepts in easy-to-understand and highly visual presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines and dealing with certain levels of ambiguity.
- Proven analytical skills, conceptual thinking and systematic problem solving
- Ability to work both independently and in an agile, highly-collaborative work environment.
- Individual must be highly organized, able to meet tight deadlines and have experience working on projects.
