About the role
Purpose: To design, build and support business intelligence and Data solutions that enable governance and empower Executives decision-making.
Accountabilities:
- Define requirements, evaluate, design, develop and implement new automated solutions within International Operations countries
- Maintain and support existing Business Intelligence (BI), Data management and transformation solutions built on Data visualization tools, reporting, SQL Server integration and analysis Services.
- Design, transform data and build performance-oriented BI and ETL architectures for applications handling very large volumes of data from diverse data sources, in accordance with Architectural Review Board’s requirements
- Create wire frame and mock-ups structural models of BI dashboards following requirements and organizational design patterns
- Design and develop BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements and management directives with adequate efficient performance.
- End-to-end testing using proper use cases to guarantee data integrity, data consistency and to support minimal organization risks.
- Compliance with organizational policies, procedures and IT Security regulations in accordance with Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF).
- Write detailed technical documentation such as solution design, operation procedures and user guides.
- Develop pilot, proof of concept and prototypes as required
- Provide reliable and timely support as required
- Problem resolutions of systems in accordance with agreed SLAs
- Guarantee code updates in BNS code repository
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a software developer or similar IT roles
- Solid working experience on SQL Server Enterprise integration and analysis Services. Such as SSIS and SSAS
- Solid experience with Tabular modeling with SSAS is a must
- Expert-level development with Power BI and data analysis with, but not limited to, Microsoft Technology
- Expertise in complex Architecture Design evaluations and solutions
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Power BI developer, designing, building and implementing end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions
- Professional expertise in Power BI Report Server and DAX, Power BI dashboard design, layouts, and themes.
- Working experience within Active Directory and Power BI Report Server integration
- Strong Power BI real-time analytic skills
- Working experience with Git and Bitbucket
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong SQL query skills
- Working experience with script-based deployment to Team Foundation Server for automatic code deployment within environments.
- Strong experience in Azure DevOps
- Working experience with Microsoft Azure technologies in the context of Business Intelligence projects
- Power BI Embedded knowledge
- PowerShell scripting experience
- Certified on Exam 70-778: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI
- MCSA BI Reporting certification or Microsoft Data Analyst certification
- Working experience in the financial industry
- Web development is an asset
- Project Management certification
