Responsibilities:

Provide structural engineering services with emphasis on new design, investigation, repair and rehabilitation of constructed works, and investigation and performance evaluation of structures. Job duties include the following:

  • Perform a wide range of structural engineering analysis and design tasks in steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures under the supervision/direction of senior staff.
  • Generate or check structural analysis calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications.
  • Assist senior staff in site investigations to document existing conditions.
  • Provide assistance to senior staff during the construction administration phase of projects.
  • Generate a field report after a site visit.
  • Assist with client communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.

Requirements:

  • Master of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 1 year of experience with structural engineering and structural design tasks, including the following: working with drafting/modeling software, including AutoCAD; and working with computer analysis software.
