JOB TITLE:
Student ATS Technician
JOB PURPOSE:
Provide front line tech support, equipment delivery and set-up, and online technical assistance during the 2021-2022 academic year.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ATSS Technicians may work in 1 to 4 of these areas: Service Center, ASU-Dispatch, IT Maintenance, and Help Desk. The area descriptions is below.
Service Center:
Provide support to walk-in students, faculty and staff on personal computers, tablets, phones, and routers. Support internet access to students in the dorms and UW apartments. Perform check-out and check-in of laptops, tablets, and multimedia devices for students.
ASU Dispatch:
During Fall and Spring semesters, Technicians provide support and upkeep for Student Lab computers, printers, and other devices on campus. During Summer semesters, technicians assist in the replacement of a large portion of the Student Lab’s computers.
Help Desk:
Provide first line support for faculty, staff, students, and other UW affiliates through phone calls, online chats, and emails. Help Desk Staff work in a team environment and assist one another with customer contacts, through mentoring, and by updating our knowledge database.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Enrolled College Student
Experience: Customer Service
Other requirements: Working knowledge of consumer technology
Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy found at: https://www.uwyo.edu/risk/_files/docs/offical-vehicle-policy.pdf
