Duties: Install, configure, security and administration of application servers and deployment of applications. Install, configure and administer Web Servers. Monitor WebSphere Logs, Server Performance, configuring resources, clustering, Security management and OS level Repositories and Custom registry. Load Balancing for high availability and scalability, Monitoring and Performance analytics. Innovate Roadmaps, maintain schedules, implement and support technology tasks, capacity and life cycle plans, maintain library of procedures for Disaster Recovery solutions. Project design documentation, follow infrastructure and application standards and best practices as part of existing SDLC. Global security, SSL Keys and Trust store management, SSL/TLS upgrade and security management and firewall network protocols. Participate in design review, system and network projects enhancement meetings for medium and large size, complex projects. Develop infrastructure strategies for scalability on demand, high availability, disaster recovery. Schedule and deliver Application changes ranging from software deployments to patching maintenance. Gather information to aid in problem determination/resolution and prepares required documentation for vendor resolution. Work with development staff and Application vendors to determine project requirements as well as compatibility of upgrades, fixes, and implementation plans. Build and maintain Development, QA, Staging and Production environment infrastructure on VMWare and bare-metal systems. Provide 24/7 production rolling oncall support, managing incidents, service requests, implementation tasks in ServiceNow and ITSM.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s, or foreign equivalent, degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Linux (Red Hat, Fedora, or Ubuntu) or UNIX and VMWare ESXi; 2) Database (DB2 with HADR or MySQL); 3) Application Server (IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment, WebSphere Commerce, WebSphere Portal - WWCM / RCI, Apache Tomcat, or JBoss); 4) Web Server (Apache HTTP Server, IBM HTTP Server, or Big-IP F5 Load Balancer); 5) Development (ShellScripting, Jacl/Jython, Subversion, JIRA or ANT); 6) Network (Load Balancing, CDN - Akamai DSA), DNS, SSL, TLS, or NFS and Monitoring - Nagios, Dell, or Foglight); and 7) ITIL, Performance Tuning, Security, LDAP/SSO, QuickBuild, and JProfiler.
