The Opportunity

Qurate Retail Group (QRG) is seeking an IT Portfolio Manager to provide oversight and transparency to the portfolio of investments that supports planning, decision-making and execution required to deliver on strategic objectives. This is a leader in the management of the investments within their portfolio which partners with Product and Delivery to ensure the success of initiatives that move the organization forward and may provide direction to key strategic programs driving the toward the realization of the IT Transformation.

Your Impact

  • Contribute to the IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial review process and manage individual investments and overall value stream.
  • Provide coaching and direction on best practices / processes to project managers in collaboration with line managers and department leadership.
  • Work with Finance, Procurement and other supporting organizations in collaboration with PMs and leaders to facilitate the completion of actions and decisioning from those partners.
  • Actively support and at times drive continuous improvement in the areas of planning and execution.
  • Identify dependency and risk mitigation in collaboration with project managers and leaders.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in global project and program management with ability to deliver multiple initiatives and priorities.
  • Experience with product development project/program management
  • Experience managing enterprise IT investments and related tools.
  • Ability to work “in the grey”, meeting the organization’s needs as they evolve and as the organization undergoes significant transformation in an effort to drive long-term growth.
