About the role

Do you love security technology and want to be in a group that is redefining Arm's software security methodology?

Our security architects help our engineering teams design and build secure solutions, products, and tools. They work closely with our enterprise security and governance team, improving secure development methodology and lifecycle processes throughout the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for security specification, analysis, security review of software (including firmware and embedded) solutions, developing training and mentoring security culture within the company.

You will design sophisticated technical solutions in an inclusive and participatory manner. This includes collaborating with and influencing others (e.g. business partners, technical architects, software developers), to reconcile cyber security, technical and business considerations in order to arrive at an optimal solution.

Key Skills:

• Ideally you should have extensive experience in working experience in information security engineering.
• Strong compiled programming language skills.
• Familiarity with embedded platforms.
• An adversarial demeanour and proven reverse-engineering abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and passion for documenting your work

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in carrying out security code reviews.
• Proficiency with one or more static code analysis tools (e.g. Coverity, SonarQube).
• Proficiency with any fuzzing tools.
• Project management
• Familiarity with cloud / web systems security
• A strong grasp of low level languages (e.g. C/C++), especially from a vulnerability standpoint
• Knowledge of RTL
