The Opportunity

Qurate Retail Group is looking for candidate that is passionate about the customer for an internship opportunity with the QVC and HSN Customer Experience team. This is a unique opportunity to learn Customer Experience at a growing retail and ecommerce company. The Customer Experience Intern will support the Customer Experience team, helping to transform the experience while working on key priorities for the business. The intern will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams from multiple parts of the organization to deliver best-in-class moments.

Your Impact

  • Learn the Customer Experience (CX) functions across QVC and HSN to protect the brand and retain customers.
  • Assist the CX team in service recovery efforts to proactively communicate to our customers and restore trust.
  • Learn how to evaluate operational performance to understand the impact the business operation has on the customer’s experience. 
  • Monitor and escalate customer trends & emerging issues to the leadership team. 
  • Research and perform internal and external benchmarking to understand best practices and trends impacting customers. 
  • Build relationships within other Qurate brands and departments such as Drop Ship, Merchandising, Marketing, Consumer Insights, etc. to share the customer story and drive improvements.
  • Plan, facilitate or participate in team meetings, including preparing meeting minutes and providing status updates.
  • Support the CX team through various project updates and administrative duties.
  • Recommend improvements to the customer’s experience to eliminate customer worry and avoid a contact. 
  • Discover new vendors and experiences to help advance CX department goals. 

What You Bring

  • Rising Junior, Senior or Graduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Mathematics/Analytics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, with a specific focus in Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with the ability to assess current versus potential processes
  • Self-starter, with a drive to work independently and provide timely updates of project status and progress
  • High level of demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Effective focus on process development and continual improvement
