Overview

Assist the Director- Communications with maintaining franchisee communication channels. Responsible for writing and distributing bios and binders for our annual Tools conference in August.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Snap-on Tools awards program. Including the coordination, editing, approval and submission of entries.
  • Manage Snap-on Tools franchisee/associate bio and image database.
  • Write and edit focused communications including but not limited to the National Franchise Advisory Council (NFAC) newsletters, promotional and support materials for national franchisee conference.
  • Create and update process documents related to activities in the group.
  • Produce executive CEO briefing binders and support as needed
  • Engage in social media activities such as: franchisee tracking, content monitoring and group brainstorm sessions
  • Execute other projects as required. 

Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related field.
  • Strong editor and writer
  • Attention to detail – being careful with details from ideation to program execution.
  • Strong grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Must be proficient with Word and Excel and be familiar with publishing software, such as InDesign. Experience in PowerPoint presentation software also a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently while managing work load and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain positive relationships.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed
