Overview

Responsible for assisting Manager, Communications Digital Media with management of Snap-on Tools social media channels, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Podbean. Produce and execute other focused communications projects as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating public digital media channels including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Podbean and Giphy
  • Maintain franchisee portal content
  • Write and distribute weekly “Key News of the Week” (KNOW) e-mail franchisee publication
  • Create and send urgent e-mails to franchisees, during “off” hours on an ad hoc basis.
  • Monitor Franchisee Forum discussion boards, reporting unusual activity
  • Manage Facebook franchisee group
  1. Member management
  2. Group monitoring
  3. Content management
  4. Maintain video library
  • Kick-off and SFC Binders
  • Top 100 Poster development
  • Manage Snap-on Tools franchisee/associate bio and image database
  • Execute other projects as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Strong editor and writer
  • 3-5 years’ experience administering social media channels for a multi-level organization
  • Attention to detail – being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks
  • Strong grammar and proofreading skills
  • Creativity and a strong sense of design. Must be proficient with Word. Excel and PowerPoint and be familiar with design software, such as InDesign and Photoshop
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently while managing work load and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain positive relationships
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours when needed
