The Opportunity

You will be part of a Global Audit team with accountability for executing the annual internal audit plan for Qurate Retail Group’s domestic and international operations. As a Senior IT Auditor, you will work closely with the business partners to strengthen the Company’s internal control environment and compliance efforts by executing IT and integrated audit programs, performing data analytic procedures, and sharing audit findings and recommendations with management

Who We Are

Internal Audit is a Qurate Retail Group- QRG function with responsibilities across all of the retail brands including: QVC, HSN, Zulily, Ballard Designs, Frontgate, Garnet Hill, Grandin Road and Ryllace. One core function of this team is to offer assurance that risks have been adequately defined and correctly evaluated. The team examines organization’s tolerance for risk, its plans for detecting and mitigating risk and communicating and monitoring risk appropriately

Your Impact

• Perform risk assessments identifying risks and objectives relevant to the applicable audit and determine the levels of risk to define the extent of testing procedures required
• Perform detailed audit testing for the applicable audit, with the assistance from the Lead IT Auditor or IT Audit Manager. This includes preparing audit work papers and drafting initial audit findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Internal Controls teams to share guidance with Qurate Retail Group management in the development of controls and procedures to meet internal control requirements.
• Communicate audit results and recommendations for improvement to Management and Senior Management
• Maintain a strong business and technical acumen that drives continuous change and improvement by building and maintaining positive relationships with leaders throughout the organization
• Assess the adequacy and efficiency of operating policies and procedures and compliance with established Company and regulatory policies and procedures.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or Security, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline required.
• 2 plus experience in the IT audit (or related) field.
• Broad knowledge of generally accepted auditing practices, Sarbanes Oxley Section 404, and IT compliance standards and frameworks.
• Solid technical understanding of how to audit common industry technologies (e.g. Linux, UNIX, Windows, Active Directory, Oracle, Mainframe/DB2, and SAP).
• Background in one or more data analytics, mining, or visualization tools (e.g. SQL, ACL, IDEA, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to execute moderate to large size cross-functional projects, including those involving multiple technologies, complex functionality and/or IT architecture.
