Tech Lead
FAREPORTAL is currently seeking a QA / Testing Lead to join our expanding Technology Team.
Responsibilities/Skills:
- Should have had extensive hands on experience in the development and leading the development process of Intranet/Internet applications using Microsoft technologies VIZ ASP.Net, C#.Net, ADO.Net, XML, WCF, Web services, SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 R2, LINQ, MOSS 2007 Administration and Web parts development, Web form development, ASP 6.0, DTS, SSIS, SSRS.
- Deliver guaranteed quality release of software products and solutions.
- Should have worked in an environment driven by analysis of Requirement, Technical Design, designing database architecture, application development, testing and production deployment
- Firm understanding of .NET framework, including ASP.NET
- Good understanding of .NET Design patterns and practices.
- Good understanding of Visual Studio tools such as FXCop, Code Coverage and Analyzer tools and other third party tools such as ANTS Profiler, AVI Code Profilers.
- Solid understanding and use of object-oriented methodologies e.g. UML, Enterprise Library or other frameworks
- Knowledge and experience with agile processes.
- Demonstrated significant contributions in a team environment, following established software engineering and project practices
- Co-ordinate with Software Development Teams on producing highly optimized, highly scalable and high performing code.
- Peer and pair with development teams as extreme programmers for code coverage and unit tests.
- Work with Quality Assurance team on load, performance testing of website products.
- Work with Release Management team on VSTS to enforce coding guidelines and conventions.
- Work with development teams in code reviews.
- Should have strong hands-on experience in playing a key technical analyst role in resolving issues
- Work with Release Teams to merge code among Development, Staging and Production branches.
