Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

We have an excellent opportunity in Woburn, MA for a Finance professional to join the Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) team supporting the Taiwan Surveillance Radar Program Follow-on Support 2 (SRP FoS2) and ROTHR programs within the Air Power business. We are seeking a highly motivated individual that will be accountable for detailed FP&A responsibilities with a focus on bookings, sales, profit, and cash. This position is responsible for various reporting activities, inclusive of preparation and delivery of monthly forecast and operating reviews, risk and opportunity management, workforce planning, overhead planning and analysis, and various ad hoc requests.

In addition to FP&A responsibilities the position will work close with the business manager with oversight to all program controls for both programs to help define and understand the monthly variances to budget and EAC positions. This position requires proactive execution and significant interaction with Program Finance, Program Managers, and representatives from ops finance, supply chain, and contracts teams to ensure alignment on financial commitments. The selected candidate must be able to work effectively under deadlines and constraints as well as have the ability to multitask across a variety of programs. Additionally, this role requires the ability to dive into detailed planning elements as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the effort to develop the program’s monthly/quarterly forecasting, annual operating plans (AOPs) and 5-year plans for all relevant financial metrics
  • Provide weekly reporting and analysis on all financial metrics
  • Effectively partner with many stakeholders to execute program
  • Present cost and trend data to LT during Program Reviews, Management Reviews, etc
  • Analyze, report against and forecast program’s staffing levels
  • Manage program’s Capital requirements
  • Manage development and monthly tracking of New Business Investment (NBI), to include Selling and Bid & Proposal (B&P) costs
  • Drive compliance in all processes and support audits of financial information by internal auditors, external auditors and DCAA/DCMA auditors
  • The successful candidate will provide meaningful business insights and analysis, create a strong cross-functional environment, and will communicate effectively with all partners

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of relevant professional working experience
  • Previous Program and Earned Value experience
  • Experienced user of SAP or similar system
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

This role requires DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to start.
