Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizens with a current/active Secret clearance

This position is eligible for a Sign on Bonus up to 40k for a candidate.

As a member of the SEIT (Systems Engineering Integration and Test) team, you will work closely with the other disciplines and our customers to develop solutions to complex problems and support critical missions. Regular activities will include participating in engineering discussions, producing systems engineering and test artifacts, and coordinating with the team of program stakeholders. You will contribute to a team of engineers in the accomplishment of design, integration and test responsibilities throughout the entire development lifecycle. Tasks may include the performance of system analyses including trade studies, requirements definition and derivation, system and product design, interface definition, and requirement validation and verification.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years demonstrated engineering experience with a proven track record of success
  • Strong understanding of the SE development lifecycle and change management process
  • Proven ability to meet timelines
  • Experience in systems engineering functions including: operations concept development, System and product design, requirements management, technical risk management, interface definition and control
  • Proven experience conducting system integration and system test to include development of Integration and Test plans, test cases and procedures.
  • Experience executing product and system level tests to include experience with automation test tools or scripting.
  • Knowledge of and experience working in DOORS or similar requirements management tood
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Have a current Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access clearance

Desired Skills

  • Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
  • Experience in Planning and Scheduling, Command and Telemetry and/or Flight Dynamics
  • Experience in integration, and/or verification and validation
  • Experience in SE process development and deployment
  • Experience in Operations including: procedure development, training, transition planning, installation, and deployment
  • Experience with complex satellite ground systems, particularly previous deployment of developed systems to ground station operations
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering using DOORS, Enterprise Architect and JIRA or similar tools
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with SW, Integration and Verification teams
  • Qualified Six Sigma Specialist or equivalent

Minimum Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or related STEM degree program from an Accredited University/School/College with 10+ years of relevant work experience
