Job Description:

The Hardware and Infrastructure Engineering (HW&I) team has a professional position as a Cybersecurity Implementation Engineer available to support IA hardening of and SIEM tool integration on information systems being designed/built to meet our unique customer mission needs. The qualified candidates will be skilled in administration and hardening of complex VMware/Linux environments using automation tools and techniques. This position may require some overtime to meet scheduled milestones, as well as limited (<20%) travel for site installations.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with infrastructure cyber service delivery concepts and tools
  • Knowledge of US Government IA compliance standards
  • Ability to design and/or evaluate security solutions that meet compliance standards using COTS and/or custom products
  • Skills in Linux installation, configuration, and cyber-related COTS/FOSS product integration
  • Scripting skills in bash, Perl, Python and/or Ruby
  • Exposure to the use of DevOps build automation tools such as Chef for system patching/hardening
  • Ability to support security test and evaluation activities for validation of security requirements
  • Existing US Government TS/SCI clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with agile implementations of design to requirements
  • Ability to understand high-level infrastructure service design artifacts, particularly those relating to security subsystems

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), or related STEM Degree program from an Accredited University, School, and/or College required with 4+ years of relevant work experience.
