Raytheon Intelligence & Space's Field Engineering has an opportunity for a Sr. Field Engineer I (FSR) / Senior Electronics Analyst (RADAR Specialist). The FSR will provide engineering support on the L-88 Radar at the Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) program’s maintenance center in El Paso TX. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and have the ability to represent Raytheon IIS as the initial interface with external customers and ensure we meet customer schedules. Candidate may also be called upon to assume additional leadership roles and at times, work with little or no direct supervision and is the point of contact to IIS program management.

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have experience troubleshooting/operational checkout of the L-88 or other Radar Systems.
  • Must be experienced and familiar with the tools and test equipment commonly used in electronic installation, maintenance and test.
  • Must possess excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • An existing SECRET clearance is required.
  • Ability to obtain DHS/CBP clearance.

Required Education (including Major): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, OR an Associate Degree with 8 years of related experience OR High School and 10 years of related experience, training and education may substitute for the degree.

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
