What You’ll Do
- Lead a team of FrontEnd Software Developers
- Architect software solutions for the Aero Space Industry
- Help set the technology standards and software development practices
- Develop and maintain user-facing interfaces
- Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX requirements
- Optimize application code for performance and scalability
- Identify strategies to systemically improve code quality
- Automate repetitive tasks and enhance the developer experience
- Ensure the timely delivery of software development projects
Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent practical experience
- 12+ years of experience
- Strong, hands-on JavaScript (ES2015) development skills, and proficiency in a framework for building interfaces (React, Angular)
- Mastery of HTML5/CSS3, and proficiency in CSS pre-processing (SASS,LESS)
- Hands-on experience building applications leveraging WebComponents
- Hands-on experience building Responsive and Single Page Applications (SPA)
- Hands-on experience in web application development and associated skills (REST, HTTP, JSON)
- Familiarity with networking and security basics (ssh, certification, DNS, key management, CORS)
- Usage of dependency bundling tool (Webpack, Browserify)
- Experience with browser testing and debugging
- Affinity for profiling and analyzing code to identify areas for improvement
- Usage of Continuous Integration services (Jenkins, CircleCI)
- Experience implementing and working in a Test Driven and Agile environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with low-level JaveaScript APIs (ServiceWorkers, IndexedDB, Canvas, SVG, Fetch)
- Experience in GraphQL
- Experience with Google Flutter for mobile dev
- Familiar with Platform and Cloud services
- Experience with micro-service-oriented application architecture
- Experience rapid prototyping and concept development
