We are seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to lead the development of automated test and retest (ATRT) methodologies for the development and test of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) command and control operations center. The role includes the integration, verification and validation (IV&V) of an existing ground system design within a larger UAV system-of-systems. The candidate should be knowledgeable of the Systems Engineering life-cycle and capable to work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines through all phases of development, test and delivery.
Responsibilities include:
Lead projects or groups through design, integration, testing, and delivery support. Apply communication, analytic and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate and resolve issues. Lead and implement integration solutions combining software and hardware systems. Maintain, create, and update integration and test environments. Excel as part of a small test team exercising feature level capability and coordination of customer selloff, implementing ATRT when possible. Create, share, and reuse tests and also enable the capability to share test results, including the step-by-step reconstruction necessary to re-create a problem when identified. Lead and support the update process for operations manuals, work instructions, tools, and scripts. Lead and contribute to a team of systems engineers in accomplishment of engineering tasks in an iterative development environment. Perform complex system engineering analyses including trade studies. Attend technical interchange meetings with team members and multiple disciplines. Provide status on assigned tasks.
