The Systems Architect (SA) contributes to a team of systems engineers in accomplishment of system and segment engineering tasks in an iterative development environment. The SA provides technical direction and clarification of requirements and design to the software development teams and Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V) personnel.
The SA will displays extensive and substantial practical knowledge and experience of the System Architect area and will provide guidance to others including junior engineers encountering unusual situations. Applies scientific and mathematical knowledge when performing engineering tasks.
Candidate will assist in lifecycle definition activities at system or system element level as well as Assisting with definition and understanding of system functionality. Candidate will use systems thinking to contribute to enterprise technology development activities. Uses common techniques to proposing, defining or challenging arguments and conclusions, with guidance. Interprets and uses outcomes of modeling and analysis, with guidance.
The SA attends technical interchange meetings with the team members and other program personnel, and represents the organization in matters pertaining to the development of his/her project. The SA provides status on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks. The SA will lead document reviews and resolves technical systems engineering and integration issues. The candidate will supports ECP efforts as required. Must have the ability to manage time and resources in order to meet assigned deadlines.
Up to $20K for referrals with the following active clearances: $10K for Secret, $20K for TS, $20K for TS/SCI, and $5K for no clearance (non-UP)

B.S./M.S./PhD in a STEM degree. Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related STEM degree program from an Accredited University/School/College, with 6+ years prior relevant experience
