Raytheon Technologies intends to offer a proposal in support of STARGAZER. An experienced Senior Data Scientist focusing on established programmatic and quantitative methods to find patterns and relationships in large data sets.
Job duties may include but are not limited to:
- Conducting mathematical, statistical, or other data-driven problem solving analysis to identify business operations or intelligence questions by internal and external customers.
- Work independently with minimal supervision by first line supervisor or government client.
Required:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, Math, or similar related discipline. Advanced degree highly desired. Some positions may allow related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Six (6) or more years combined experience in engineering lifecycle software solutions.
- Proficient with major data science tools and languages such as PostgreSQL/SQL, Python, R, NiFi, and Git.
- Experience with cleaning, managing, optimizing performance with, and processing large volumes of data.
- Familiar with industry best-practices for software-hardware optimization when processing large data sets.
Desired:
- Experience with the Anaconda distribution of Python, and Anaconda Enterprise, PyPi, Rstudio, Jenkins, use of Cookie cutter templates, Terraform, MongoDB, cloud services and offering in AWS/C2S, cloud architecting, machine learning, statistical modeling, time-series forecasting, and/or geospatial analytics.
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or other parallel storage/computing processes a plus.
Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
