RISCSI provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence Community

Job Description: Designs and develops electronic or electromechanical equipment or systems-oriented products and prepares related installation, operation, and maintenance specifications and instructions; analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests; analyzes engineering proposals and related technical data to determine feasibility of assigning new equipment or modifying existing equipment. Responsible for prototype construction and checkout; compiles operational data and prepares customer application information.

Analyze, trend and troubleshoot Radio Frequency (RF), Digital, and optical systems. Monitor systems for degradation, sparing, and obsolescence. Identify, engineer, procure material, build, install, test and document system upgrades and replacements.

Required Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of RF communications principles and performance measuring
  • Expert knowledge of AC and DC electronic principles and techniques
  • Expert knowledge of RADAR principles, including design and development experience
  • Detailed knowledge of RF modulation techniques
  • Detailed knowledge of satellite communications terms and principles
  • Detailed knowledge of RF-over-network based systems
  • Detailed knowledge of commercial software MODEMS
  • Ability to successfully complete safety at heights certification training
  • Ability to complete tower climbing and rescue training
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electronic equipment located 200ft. up on Cellular phone towers

Desired Skills:

  • Systems design and development knowledge and experience
  • Basic understanding of the Python programming language
  • Intermediate Visual Basic Programming Language experience
  • Knowledge of engineering tools and test equipment
  • Proficiency tailoring MS Excel spreadsheets to provide systems analysis reporting
  • Self Starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of engineering documentation configuration management principles and processes

Required Education (including Major):

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline and 10 years of relevant experience

This position is dependent on an individual's ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w/ CI Poly Clearance. Raytheon Technologies will facilitate the application process for the selected individual.
