Raytheon Technologies is seeking a fully cleared Senior Systems Architect with a current polygraph for a position supporting the customer in McLean, VA on a Raytheon primed program..
Candidate shall be able to apply the knowledge of IT strategy and operations against mission needs to design improved processes, generate valid requirements and ensure consistent application of technical architecture. Provide hands-on technical direction for personnel, design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns, and perform systems management and integration functions.
Required Skills:
Candidate shall have a minimum of ten years of experience, to include:
- Designing, installing testing, implementing and maintaining complex enterprise architectures;
- General experience with all aspects of systems engineering and administration;
- Capability to teach the installation and troubleshooting of systems and software;
- Broad based technical knowledge spanning all areas of IT operations and service delivery;
- Ability to translate requirements into end-to-end designs for systems that involve multiple interfaces and supporting data repositories;
- Customer service skills, teaming skills, and the ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team; Ability to explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences; communication skills, both written and oral;
- Demonstrated ability to be a quick learner who can work independently;
- Demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities;
- Web Services, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), application integration technologies and approaches, data management technologies (Extract-Transform Load (ETL);
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, operating environments;
- Significant Experience with HTML/XHTML;
- Scripting Languages Including Javascript, Perl, Python, PHP, and PowerShell.
Required Knowledge Skills:
Personnel shall possess knowledge and experience in:
- Analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations;
- Analyzing and recommending commercially available software and systems;
- Incorporating strategies for introducing new technology into the infrastructure;
- Developing future technology and architectural advancements to support architectural strategy, technology migration, and integration.
