The Systems Design Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD). The more than 1,100 employees of Systems Design provide requirements definition and design at the system, subsystem and component level every day in a collaborative environment which is characterized by respect for the individual, problem solving in a team setting, consensus oriented solutions, and results based recognition. The MDSS department provides subject matter expertise for concept development, architectural design, requirements generation & flow down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, test and evaluation of world-class Missile Defense & Sensor Systems to be achieved through our people, processes, technology and performance.
Job Description:
The Missile Defense National Team – Engineering (NT-E)–Engineering System Concepts & Requirements (SC&R) Product Team, performs system engineering functions and leads requirements and architecture development activities to define, characterize, and develop Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) capabilities and document the capabilities in BMDS Technical Baseline products.
The SC&R Product Team consists of the following groups: System Architecture and Requirements Tools, System Requirements, Performance Requirements, Interface Requirements, Specialty Engineering, and Capability Development for Future Concepts.
The candidate will assist in the development and refinement of BMDS Technical Baseline documents and System Architectures, including production, delivery, and configuration management of technical documentation, including the BMD System Specification, BMD System Interface Control Documents, and associated Specification Change Notices.
