An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior MMIC Design Engineer I position to join our fast-paced Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) development team, within the Microelectronics Engineering & Technology (MET) Department, part of Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) business unit.
The successful candidate will develop Raytheon Technologies’ state-of-the-art MMIC products that support air and missile defense systems and radars. Using advanced semiconductor and module technologies, he or she will be responsible for the complete product cycle of the MMIC, including concept, design, layout, test, evaluation, and interfacing with the customer.
In this role, the successful candidate is expected to have the following attributes:
Knowledge: Has strong background in RF/microwave engineering. Exhibits high degree of ingenuity and resourcefulness. Familiar with advanced technologies and concepts.
Problem Solving: Develops insights that extends knowledge in the MMIC design field and forms the basis of new concepts, theories, and products.
Discretion: Acts independently to uncover and resolve issues. Plans R&D ideas to accomplish long-range objectives.
Impact: Researches and develops advanced new technology resulting in new product/business opportunities for Raytheon.
Liaison: Serves as a technical resource and represents the department as a technical contact to Raytheon as well as external customers. Candidate will be a team player and interact with all levels of the organization.
