Raytheon Intelligence and Space in State College, PA is seeking talented Systems-Software Engineers to support classified programs that develop and enhance integrated sensor, signal processing, complex analytics, and big data systems for Intelligence Community customers. The successful candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills, works effectively in a team environment, and is flexible & adaptable to respond to customer mission needs.

About State College, PA:

State College is a college town, dominated economically and demographically by the presence of the University Park main campus of The Pennsylvania State University, one of the ten largest public universities in the United States. State College provides access to many cultural and athletic activities & events, and yet is only minutes away from rural Pennsylvania country-side.

Clearance Requirements:

Active TS/SCI clearance (or equivalent crossover) is required

This position is eligible for a Sign on Bonus up to $40k for a candidate with a current TS/SCI that can be verified and hired.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Familiarity with engineering processes and techniques
  • Strong interpersonal, communications, organization, and planning skills
  • Commitment to quality customer service and on-schedule task completions
  • Ability to manage time and resources to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to generate technical documentation (DoDAF, ICDs, Test Plans & Procedures, etc.)

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to work effectively on multi-discipline engineering teams
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Deployment environments
  • Experience with Agile Development
  • Experience with software development on Linux platforms
  • Experience with system-level requirements analysis, system design, trade studies, and/or system integration & verification
  • Experience conducting technical research, documenting and presenting results
  • Coursework and/or experience in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering and/or Security Engineering.
  • CompTlA Security+ certification

Education Requirements:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), or related STEM degree program from an Accredited University/School/College with a minimum of 2+ years of prior relevant experience, unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

This position requires a U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
