Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Manager in Engineering Advanced Datalinks to manage a large team of both experienced professionals and team leaders in General Engineering. This individual will direct key activities, manage budget and key performance, and plan for more effective utilization of human and material resources to achieve operational targets.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Directs activities of engineering or technical personnel involved in designing, fabricating, modifying or testing products.
  • Manages the budget, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
  • Manages major responsibilities across multiple engineering disciplines on a regular basis.
  • Performs engineering activities that cannot be attributed to a defined discipline.
  • May also include professional employees required to perform activities across several disciplines on smaller sites.

Basic Qualifications:

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and 8 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in relevant discipline and 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain U.S. DoD Security Clearance.

Required Skill Sets:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline preferred.
  • Project Leadership or Project Management experience.
  • Work experience in Systems, Hardware, and/or Software engineering.
  • Communication Engineering experience preferred.
