GPS OCX is seeking talented Software Engineers to join our software team. The candidate must have experience and knowledge with software engineering using object oriented methodologies. The candidate will work closely with systems engineers, integrators, testers, and customers to support software applications throughout refresh and maintenance life cycle. Responsibilities include updates to configuration files, path names, recompiles and troubleshooting of existing code to be compatible with COTs and compiler upgrades. Strong trouble shooting skills are a must.
GPS OCX is seeking a Senior level Software Engineer with knowledge in Weblogic and Automation Tools to join our software team. The candidate must have experience and knowledge with software engineering – including design development, and maintenance life cycle, Additional knowledge of DevOps methodologies and SW process is desirable. The candidate will play an integral role within the GPC OCX Automation team.
Typical responsibilities include supporting all aspects of Software Development, including design, coding, integration, test, build coordination and deployment. Responsibilities also include the support of ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the existing, operational system. Software Engineers are required to work with the Systems Engineering, Integration and Test teams in support of SW requirements analysis, test plan development, problem investigation, and software documentation.
Qualified candidates should be able to quickly understanding assignments and carry them out with moderate supervision. Strong verbal and written communication skills are desired for maintaining a high level of team efficiency.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and have a current DoD Secret Clearance.
