Job Description:
We have immediate career growth opportunities for early career Test Development Engineers to join our diverse team supporting Integrated Communication Systems (ICS) Test Automation in direct support of the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center.
The Test Automation Department (TAD) is responsible for the design and development of test equipment hardware and software for a wide range of products and customers. The Largo Test Automation section within TAD is a growing and highly motivated team who consistently provides quality on-time on-cost solutions to support external and internal customers seeking innovative and economical solutions for their product lines. Being located at Largo CMC the section also supports change incorporation, advanced troubleshooting, and obsolescence redesign efforts of various legacy systems in direct support of production capabilities. Position has potential domestic travel up to 10% in support of development activities.
Primary responsibility will be to develop test software to exercise and analyze deliverable product. Other responsibilities are to support conceptual and detailed design of test positions and test adapters as well as integration and post-delivery support of these test systems. Candidate will be expected to follow established procedures and instructions (IPDS and the One-page processes) while working closely with program / functional / factory supervision to ensure the overall design objectives are met. Candidate must be able to support cradle to grave efforts including proposal generation, conceptual modeling, detailed design, integration, and verification activities. The candidate will typically be the primary and often sole developer for the entire development cycle.
Required Skills:
Minimum 6 years of test software development with emphasis in automated test systems; and experience with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand software with knowledge of other programming languages (C, C++, C#)
MUST be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance within one year of hire date; Active Secret clearance is preferred.

BS and 6 years of experience, MS and 4 years of experience, PhD and 2 years of experience.
