The Systems Design & Architecture Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon Missles & Defense (RMD). Are You Ready To Engineer a Safer World? The System of System (SoS) Department is looking for Systems Engineers with the technical expertise and engineering leadership skills to drive the design and development of world-class Air and Missile Defense Systems. The System of System Department (SoS) supports RMD by providing world class Weapon Systems Engineering. Domain Expertise includes Radar Systems, Effector Systems, Battle Management, Command and Control, Communications, Network Design, Battlespace Integration and Interoperability for Domestic and International customers. In our experience, diversity of talent and thought is what drives innovation and we are looking for motivated engineers who will be responsible for performing Systems Engineering studies and trades, supporting System Requirements definition and analysis, algorithm development, integration, test and evaluation.

In this role the Engineer will work with a multi-disciplined development/production team to provide technical support for the assigned products. Extensive travel between Polish partners primarily based in Warsaw, Gdansk, Debica, Rzeszow, Tarnow, Katowice and Stalowa Wola is required. The Engineer will work with organizations based in Poland as well as the USA.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 6(+) years of experience in the field of engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Experience with system level requirements development, documentation and maintenance
  • Experience with system verification and validation activities including First Article Inspections
  • Develop and code system models, algorithms, test vectors and analysis tools in support of analyzing requirements and performance.
  • Candidate must be bilingual with Polish native tongue and English language written and verbal, to a minimum B2 level

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated team player, with excellent collaboration and mentoring skills
  • Masters of Science in an Engineering discipline
  • Experience working with (one of the following) MATLAB, C/C++, Java, and/or DOORS
  • Working knowledge or experience with Patriot Systems
  • Working knowledge or experience with Polish Ministry of National Defense (MoND)
  • Experience with Engineering Standards, including but not limited to, United States MIL-STDs, Polish Norma Obronas, and ISOs.
  • Ability to work closely with a cross functional team, with representatives from Engineering, Operations, Integrated Supply Chain, Quality, IPT Leadership, Program Management teams Ability to collaborate with external suppliers
  • Experience with Hardware Design and Manufacturing (Technical Data Package and Manufacturing Data Package development)

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related discipline.
