The Re-Empower Program helps support talented and committed professionals as they rebuild their capabilities, enhance leadership skills, and continue their professional journey. Over the course of the 14-week program, experienced professionals will gain paid, on-the-job experience, have an opportunity to participate in sessions with leadership, develop personalized plans for success and receive coaching to guide their return to work experience. Upon completion of the program, based on performance and contributions participants will be eligible for a career at Raytheon Technologies. The next cohort of the Re-Empower Program will run from September 21, 2020 – December 23, 2020.

The Tucson, AZ, facility is searching for several Mid-level Modeling/Simulation/Analysis Engineers to join a growing team of engineering professionals who share a mission of protecting our war fighters and allies.
The MSA teams within the Systems Design & Performance (SD&P) directorate provide, develop, and maintain high fidelity performance simulations (including multiple sensor channels, scene generation capability, control hardware, physical environment, and embedded software), execute system performance analysis (including pre-flight prediction, post flight matching, and verification and validation), support new business initiatives and develop & execute technology roadmaps. Note: This position can be a Sr. Systems Engineer I (G08) or a Sr. Systems Engineer II (G09) based upon the applicant’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, leadership, experience and responsibility requirements of the position.
Job Description and Key Tasks:
The Mid-level Modeling/Simulation/Analysis Engineer will create high fidelity simulations and models for missile component and system design, performance assessment, and flight test support. The Mid-level Modeling/Simulation/Analysis Engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of modeling solutions, and subsequently conducts trade studies and analysis of system and subsystem performance.
The Mid-level Modeling/Simulation/Analysis Engineer will work in a team environment, receiving inputs from the team lead and providing guidance and/or direction to other team members. Mid-level Modeling/Simulation/Analysis Engineers will collaborate with Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), signal processing, and other performance analysis personnel to perform simulation activities according to the program schedule.
The Mid-level Modeling/Simulation/Analysis Engineer will work on diverse projects, determine, and develop approaches and solutions, and providing development support throughout the product lifecycle from initial concept to fielded product. Responsibilities include providing technical support for the simulation products of a specific program, and assisting Senior Modeling Engineers in the preparation of detailed plans (including task objective, expected output, budget requirements and schedule for projects), and may interact with government counterparts as an authority on simulation products.
Please note: We are not seeking engineers with an AutoCAD or 3-D modeling background or network modeling from an IT perspective.
