Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RIS) is currently seeking an Embedded Systems / Cybersecurity Engineers to be a key contributor in the implementation of cyber engineering into DoD platform based products. This position will be involved throughout the full lifecycle of the development program including proposal, Concept of Operations (CONOPs) development, requirements development, architecture, design, integration, test, and certification of products. Minimal travel (up to 10%) will be required to support testing at customer sites as well as various activities during the development phase.
Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret Security Clearance
Required Skills:
- Experience with creating and implementing embedded Cybersecurity Solutions, Security Authorization requirements, vulnerability assessments, threat mitigation, and emerging Cybersecurity technologies
- DoD platform product development experience, to include: architecture, requirements, design, integration, and testing
- Current IAM level 2 or greater cybersecurity certification per DoD 8570.01; such as: CAP, GSLC, CISM, CASP, CISSP, etc.
- Compliance implementation with security requirements (i.e. Risk Management Framework and other A&A processes)
- Systems Engineering experience working with complex embedded systems
- Capable of developing technical solutions following the assessment of complex customer needs
- Prior customer facing experience working directly with DoD and/or Federal Agencies
- Experience in conducting technical reviews with both internal and external customers
- Must be able to travel up to 10%
Desired Skills:
- Tactical vehicle (Ground/Air/Naval) Military System Design and Implementation Knowledge
- Project management experience including cost, schedule, supplier management, risk, and opportunity assessment
- Ability to accurately size cyber engineering efforts and execute this tasking
- Knowledge in developing systems and configuring security postures with real time operating systems (RTOS), such as: VxWorks, Green Hills Integrity, etc.
- Knowledge of hardening and embedding commercial OS such as Windows, Linux variants into purpose built hardware
- Agile development experience with embedded and networked systems
- Strong technical performance leadership by defining responsibilities, motivating team members, demonstrating effective problem solving, and working on multiple concurrent projects with competing critical deadlines
- NIAP Certification experience
- Cross Domain Solution implementation experience
- Experience with firmware development languages (e.g. VHDL design, VeriLog, etc.)
- Experience with software design and implementation
- Implementation of Anti-Tamper solutions in Embedded products and systems
- Experience in Static / Dynamic Code Analysis
- Experience in Penetration Testing
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or related STEM degree program from an Accredited University/School/College with 6+ years of relevant work experience- or
- Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or related STEM degree program from an Accredited University/School/College with 4+ years of relevant work experience
