Zulily’s Analytics team is looking for a lead product manager to help us define and build our data, measurements and insights capability across Marketing, Merchandising and Technology. The Analytics team is highly visible within the company, partnering with leaders throughout the organization to drive sustainable growth based on the insights we provide and enable. As a key leader on the Analytics team, you will partner with experts in data science, business intelligence, and engineering to create innovative and scalable product solutions for managing data and insights across the business.

We expect an ideal candidate to be able to bring experience in the domain and a working knowledge of the art of the possible as it relates to analytics and business intelligence. You will:

• Partner with Business Intelligence and Data Engineering leaders to define and drive the development of a data and analytics product roadmap by defining requirements, sprint

priorities, and success metrics

• Manage the product portfolio and product development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure that data collection, storage, architecture, processing, and analysis supports consistent, rapid data delivery and ensures scalability.
• Engage, align, and manage expectations with our stakeholders across the business and drive on-time delivery and high end-user engagement and adoption
• Develop customer feedback programs to ensure customer experience is positive at all touchpoints and to define product improvements.
• Mentor Analysts, Business Intelligence Engineers and Data Scientists on product management skills

Qualifications:

• 6+ years as a technical product manager
• 5+ years experience gathering complex and cross functional business requirements, translating them into user stories, and working with tech teams to build upon those and launch products.
• Demonstrated results working with and influencing stakeholders.
• Ability to lead agile, engineering projects though all stages of the product release cycle from planning, execution, stabilization, release, and end-user support (e.g. Confluence, Jira).
• A natural bias for action and a desire to get the right things done.
• A customer-centric mindset with a keen focus on delivering great user experiences across the entire product lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Leadership experience with data, analytics, or reporting products in large-scale production environment preferred.
• Experience with large-scale web apps or e-commerce applications preferred.
• Experience with marketing, A/B testing, and online experimentation preferred.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in analytical field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience required, MBA or MS preferred.
