Python Automation Specialist - FT02
Exp: 7 to 10 years
BE/BTech/ME/MTech graduate
Job Description: Skilled automation specialist who can work independently & also technically drive and mentor automation teams
Primary Technical Skills Expectation:
- Good experience & knowledge in designing end to end automation system including framework/tools design, architecting CI/CD solutions etc
- Good experience & knowledge in web application automation & related tools/packages (like selenium or other alternatives)
- Good experience & knowledge in Python & any standard test framework (like pytest, unittest etc)
- Good experience & knowledge in OOPS based programming and possess excellent debugging skills to analyze any complex issues & identify root cause
- Good exposure to different testing methodologies, end to end software development life cycle including release/deployment
- Hands on experience with different tools - Testing tool, Version Control systems (Git), Test Management Software, Bug Tracking software and CI tools (Jenkins etc.)
Primary Behavioural Skills Expectation:
- Ability to provide techncial solutions and drive a automation team and also work as strong individual contributor
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders across Product development spectrum around the globe
- Very good in analytical & logical thinking on different perspectives. Ability to handle challenges & resolve any blockers
- Self-driven, Accountability and ownership of problems to achieve team goals & ability to contribute independently
- Good team player & proactive in giving new ideas/suggestions/solutions & constructive analysis of team member’s ideas
Secondary Skills (Good to have)
- Knowledge in React JS OR latest technologies/JS Application frameworks
- Knowledge in Dockers, Virtual environment etc
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Techncially support the team to understand customer requirements and provide solutions
- Design, implement and maintain test scripts with good quality in a python based automated test framework for testing web based user interface
- Execution of tests in automated test framework with the CI/CD systems - Analyze the failures & identify insights on software quality
- Take end to end ownership of software from QA perspective and develop new solutions for any complex problems across the automation spectrum
- Build deeper understanding of product/application with a keen appreciation of Software Quality
- Interact with different stakeholders around the globe across the Product development teams and resolve dependencies being independent
