Job Description

Jack Henry & Associates, a leading provider of technology solutions and payment processing services primarily for the financial services industry; is hiring an Occupancy Planner IV to join our Workplace Management Team. The Workplace Management Team maintains space utilization data and accurate and up to date CAD drawings for all JHA locations. We support all internal Jack Henry business units in space allocation along with any moves, adds or changes. This position will collect space data and coordinate office space planning. 

This role will report to the Workplace Management Manager and support the organization effectors for occupancy planning. The successful candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills, as well as creativity, attention to detail and analytical skills. If you have the ability to foster critical relationships between various levels of management and departments, this is the job for you. This position is open to being filled to work out of any of our Jack Henry office locations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in any of the following categories: facilities space management, facilities management, occupancy moves OR must have 4 years of experience in project management involving moves or relocations.
  • Must have experience with design software such as: AutoCAD / Revit / Bluebeam / ArchiCAD / Fusion360 / Dynamo.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% for moves, department meetings or projects at any Jack Henry office location.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Excel, Microsoft Office and O365, includingTeams.
  • Experience with being involved in construction projects: blueprints, design documents.
  • Computer Aided Facility Management Software experience
  • Experience with Helpdesk Software
  • Experience with Space Planning and Furniture Layouts

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Partners with other departments on move and relocation sequencing and execution for Moves/Adds/Changes (MACs) and furniture reconfiguration requests
  • Obtains Approvals to proceed when required
  • Assist with Large Shuffles and/or office relocations as required
  • Educates local contacts on planning and space policies/standards, procedures and protocols and notifies manager if they are not being followed.
  • Manage or coordinate space walks for validation and update of occupancy metrics
  • Updates and/or provides drawings in AutoCAD for departmental use and uploading into iDrawings to reflect any changes.
  • Responsible for accuracy of employee and space data in iDrawings CAFM software
  • Runs queries, reports and/or spreadsheets and compiles data
  • Processes requests for new seat assignments and executes scheduled employee moves in iDrawings for JHA locations.
  • Ability to handle and resolve helpdesk incidents assigned to WPM cases for JHA locations.
