The Role:

The Project Director, Global Compliance, will work closely with the Heads of Assurance and Compliance to determine the strategy for compliance projects. This will include conducting gap assessments when new laws/regulations/guidance or changes in industry occur and develop strategies to mitigate gaps including building out new programs if needed or revising existing programs. This position will work closely with key stakeholders across multiple functional and business groups to identify and reduce risk and potential penalty for non-compliance across the Live Nation Entertainment portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Head of Assurance and Compliance to determine strategy for compliance projects including Website Compliance and Mergers & Acquisitions Integration
  • Review appropriate Compliance and Industry appropriate laws & regulations and develop gap assessments against current LNE practices as needed
  • Will be responsible for facilitating cross-functional company efforts with guidance from senior leadership
  • Persuasively communicate thoughts and ideas that are based upon sound logic and relevant data
  • Model confidence and perseverance in the face of change and ambiguity and provide support to help others adapt to change
  • May manage a team of 3 plus employees
  • Subject matter expert both internally and externally for PMO processes and procedures
  • Consistently and successfully deliver on assigned projects and programs
  • Define and deliver end-to-end programs, and provide regular status updates
  • Create positioning, messaging, and storytelling across multiple releases and solutions, this may include working with the Corporate Training team to develop training for compliance programs
  • Build a knowledgebase of best practices and key learnings
  • May run multiple projects or programs of High complexity, High visibility, 10 or more project team members
  • Will build and nurture relationships and partnerships with internal and external team members to achieve desired results
  • Develop metrics, dashboards, and reports for Compliance and Information Security related program activities

Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification
  • Compliance background (PCI, SOX, GDPR, etc.) and/or experience in the Financial Sector
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Information Security or equivalent field of study
  • Minimum 6 years experience in technical product/project management or support
  • Experience in managing employees is a plus
  • Excellent computer skills including experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills required
  • Ability to work with cross functional stakeholders in order to meet organizational goals within deadline
  • Ability to work in large global environments spanning multiple time-zones
  • Ability to maintain discretion with sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to present for small to medium-sized cross-functional groups on relevant topics and PMO best practices.
