Participates in design and architectural activities by analyzing requirements and high level designs, and documents design and architectural solutions.

Codes and maintains software modules of considerable size and complexity working from written and oral requirements and specification.
Develops prototype versions of software modules and applications.
Mentors and provides technical assistance to more junior developers.
Assists management with the scheduling process by accurately estimating task duration.
Quickly understands and takes ownership of existing code.
Drives design and code inspections.
