Job Summary:

As Host/Hostess, Guest Services, you will be proactive with guests to answer questions and be flexible in solving guest situations. You are responsible for handling guest concerns, ticketing issues, lost and found, etc. and introducing attractions and services at Shanghai Disney Resort. You will have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of operations and become an expert in solving problems.

Responsibilities:

• Keep safety as the priority
• Be proactive with guests to answer questions and be flexible in handling guest situations
• Interact constantly with guests and Cast Members to create Disney memories for our Guests
• Listen to and resolve guest complaints
• Handle Lost and Found
• Enhance the in-park experience by resolving issues, including ticketing challenges
• Provide baby care & lost children services and operate the Disneytown guest service window

Based on business need and Cast Members’ credentials, below tasks will be assigned from time to time.

• Support guest flow in general, including in different locations
• Assist guests with directions, answer questions, provide information and solutions as needed
• Support cleaning work areas and guest areas
• Assist logistics and stocking
• Keep Shanghai Disney Resort clean by picking trash
• Handle cash or process POS in other LOBs ( * applicable to cash-handling/POS related jobs only)

Basic Qualifications:

• Provide courtesy to our guests with good communication skills and a service mindset
• A team player and be able to handle problems individually
• Energetic, patient, positive, proactive
• Flexible/adaptable (Working in an outdoor environment with varying shift times is required)
• Fluent Mandarin and English language abilities, both oral and written
• Be able to handle stressful situations and be able to perform multiple tasks at one time
• You will obtain certificate/qualification(s) required for performing the job, and complete and pass all post-employment training and assessments (including but not limited to On-Job-Training)

Work Location:

You will be working at Shanghai Disney Resort in Pudong, Shanghai. You can take metro Line 11 to Shanghai Disney Resort station or take one of our many shuttle buses.
