As we continue our journey to delivering a ‘World Class’ SMB customer sales operation, we have an increasing focus on sales execution and capability, to drive both growth and a great customer experience. The National Manager Optus Business Centres (OBC) is a key leadership role in the SMB Sales division reporting to the Associate Director Partner Channels and has direct accountability for the strategy development and execution, and indirect leadership and business performance of the OBC sales channel to deliver the National sales, customer and commercial objectives. The OBC channel is the largest customer channel for the Optus business and has been identified as requiring significant focus and change orientation over the immediate planning cycle (FY20-21) to transform into a business that can deliver significant growth over the coming 24 months. The role has direct responsibility for the relationship with the OBC representative group (LOC) as well as directing the design and execution of all reward and commissioning structures for OBCs to optimise customer performance outcomes. The role also holds the responsibility for the distribution footprint of the OBCs as well as overseeing the recruitment and performance management (in partnership with the State teams) of the OBC partners. The OBC channel represents a significant % of the total SMB sales portfolio, and the role has a shared accountability to lead an external OBC partner team of ~300 people. Who Are We Looking For ?
