About the Role

As Rippling’s first Lifecycle Marketing Lead, you will have a vital role in scaling and continually improving prospect and customer engagement at one of the fastest growing SaaS companies.

From strategy to execution and optimization, you will own all 1:1 customer communications (email, push, and in-product messaging), and critical product on-boarding funnels. You should be a wildly creative writer, armed with analytical horsepower -- delightfully mighty with the pen, and sharper than the sword.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape product strategy and drive massive revenue impact while working shoulder-to-shoulder with industry vets on a transformative, high Net-Promoter Score product that’s backed by top-tier investors including Kleiner Perkins, Initialize, Threshold Ventures, Y Combinator and SV angel.

You will:

  • Own the end-to-end customer journey: work to drive purchase, adoption, and retention across channels ranging from product funnels to email, SMS, webinar, and in-product communications.
  • Own outbound email communications: continuously conceptualizing amazingly creative new campaigns to drive outbound email performance.
  • Keep our customers informed: work with product marketing managers to own all new product communications, company announcements, and newsletters.
  • Leverage customer data to create highly targeted segments: ensure messages are sent to the right people, at the right time, through the right channel.
  • Be a brand steward: ensure our brand promise and story are consistently being represented throughout the customer journey.
  • Define your function: drive strategy, reporting, KPIs, tech investment, and execution.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years marketing experience with a focus on highly personalized marketing channels (email, in-product messaging, and push)
  • Exceptional writing and communications skills. You’re delightful, engaging, and able to sell like crazy. Agency-side copywriting experience a plus.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization and testing, within email and product flows
  • Experience with analytics and customer journey/email platforms like Salesforce and Marketo (or similar)
  • Collaborative, inquisitive, and self-starting attitude, with a sense of humor
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or a related field
