SUMMARY
Key partner for LATAM region focusing on new business opportunities and development of strategic partnerships. Responsible for managing the LATAM BDM and Sales Reps teams to fulfill the sales execution BDM projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and drive the business innovation partnerships and new market development activities for the Latam sales channels.
- Lead special projects and programs that may require cross-functional engagement with key teams across the organization, and with external stakeholders.
- Responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing projects designed to increase existing business, besides capturing new opportunities.
- Responsible for guiding, developing and challenging the LATAM Business Development Managers Team.
- Oversees projects from strategic concept and initiation through delivery and interfacing with other departments members.
- Analyzes and defines needs for resources and budget and is responsible for budget for the LATAM Business Development and Strategic Programs Group.
- Represents the LATAM BD team on high-profile projects.
- Works in conjunction with LATAM senior management to pursue and achieve tactical or strategic objectives pertaining to the long-term strategic vision assisting in the execution of work necessary to meet short term objectives as well.
- Identifies and develops proposed action strategies in support of Align’s efforts to advance company interests relative to identified trends, emerging issues and the competitive landscape in the LATAM Region.
- Travel and be in customer facing environments est. 40-50% of role

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent discipline.
- Advanced Degree in Business is desired.
- 14+ years’ experience in sales environment- as a senior leader;
- 5 + years’ experience in business development;
- Experience of working in an international environment preferred for a business head quartered in North America.
