About this opportunity

As Manager HR Operations you are responsible to develop and continuously improve the HR Operations for Align Technology. Ensure on-time and accurate monthly Payroll feed to the Payroll team for employees in countries within their legal entities. Ensure that all HR Benefits, legal requirements and GDPR regulations are followed.

You seek ways to improve operational effectiveness and develop processes to implement HR Policies and procedures. Is responsible to identify in-efficiencies within the processes and align with external and internal stakeholders to implements solutions. This true adoption of automation and self-service functionality throughout systems. Leverages technology to reduce costs, improve effectiveness and maximize efficiencies.

Manages and oversees the projects that support all HR processes while proactively participates to achieve departmental and company goals.

You will report directly to the Director Human Resources EMEA and you will manage a team of 4 employees consisting 3 HR Operations Administrators and a HR System Analyst.

In this role, you will…

  • Manage and develop the HR EMEA Operations team;
  • Oversee/complete data entry and audits for all payroll transactions;
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity and consistency of all HR Data;
  • Lead and develop various HR projects (e.g. pension, retention, absenteeism, implementing a new HR system);
  • Create high quality output of HR reporting as required by the business (HR analytics);
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partner on various HR projects;
  • Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations;
  • Maintains, manages HR Operations handbooks;
  • Ensures the effective fulfillment of objectives and deadlines assigned to the group;
  • Reporting on people insights and trends;
  • Ensures company policies and procedures are followed;
  • Ensures legislation for People Administrations are followed within the region;
  • Ensures correct and on time Payroll administration;
  • Ensures and manages employee life cycle administration for the EMEA region.

In this role, you’ll need …

  • Fluent in English and one of the following languages; Spanish, German, Dutch and or French;
  • Relevant work experience in a human resource environment;
  • Ability to adapt and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Positive and resilient attitude;
  • Great teamwork skills;
  • Strong computer skills;
  • 5+ years of work experience;
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Related equivalent work experience.
