Supply Chain Business Intelligence Analyst II
The Supply Chain Business Intelligence Analyst II will develop and implement a work plan for the completion of each analytical assignment given by leadership. They will enlist the support of the SCBI Analyst I corps, and follow up with them on their progress. They will generate insights from their analysis, and communicate those insights to all levels of the organization. They will use advanced statistical methods and tools to perform prescriptive, predictive, and experimental analysis in support of the SCCI team, and other Supply Chain users. They will understand and utilize best practices for all reports, dashboards, scorecards, and infographics, always maintaining the highest integrity with their data, analysis, and insights.
Essential Functions
- Understands advanced and increasingly sophisticated opportunities for Business Intelligence usage
- Develops and maintain Supply Chain information databases for use by multiple departments and internal customers such as Supply Chain, Finance and Manufacturing.
- Structures and manages master data using best practices for use in multiple information systems
- Performs data manipulation techniques such as cleansing, standardization, binning, indication and imputation
- Analyzes quantitative and qualitative Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance data
- Applies advanced analytical methods and tools to develop and compute measurements on key performance throughout the Supply Chain
- Prepares, designs, and manages tabular and list reports
- Compile and analyze data from multiple supply chain systems
- Designs, presents, and supports reports/dashboards/data modules to be simple, yet impactful and provide results that are tangible and meaningful.
- Ensure seamless transition of business process during change management.
- Manage several projects with shifting priorities and timeframes
- Compute reporting metrics and develop and distribute user-friendly reports using
- Executes other projects and tasks as identified and assigned.
- Stays current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies that can support and mature the existing state of Business Intelligence
- Builds, tests and develop reports, score cards and dashboards
- Designs visualizations using best practices for impact, aesthetics, meaningfulness, and audience.
- Performs day to day and other frequently periodic tasks in support of analysis and reporting needs for management
- Performs ad hoc tasks as delegated by management
- Becomes a subject matter expert for specific areas of the Supply Chain
- Utilizes SME to develop meaningful reports, dashboards, and scorecards to transform data to insights
- Executes on the strategic Business Intelligence initiatives of scalability and sustainability, while maintaining the highest integrity customer service

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 Years – Experience working in Supply Chain, IT, or Finance
- 2 Years – Experience in Data analysis and Statistics
- 2 Years – Experience with structured and unstructured data and databases, and business intelligence solutions

- Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 Years – Experience working in Supply Chain, IT, or Finance
- 4 Years – Experience in Data analysis and Statistics

Competencies
- Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Access)
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Previous experience with Oracle or other ERP system, preferred
- Intermediate or greater report building skill in IBM Cognos 10+ preferred
- Strong capability to understand structure and extraction of raw data from SQL databases. Understanding and usage capability of SQL a must
- Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work assignments with limited guidance in a changing environment
- Strong problem solving/ analytical skills
- Ability to seek and obtain information from a wide range of sources and individuals both within, and outside of, the Supply Chain department
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and complete assignments quickly and accurately.
- Excellent presentation, communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Require strong fundamental understanding of components of Business Analytics and Logistics Optimization
- Proven ability to think critically about subject matter, and provide meaningful insights after analysis
Education
- Minimum Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Economics, or Supply Chain or other related field
- Preferred:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Economics, or Supply Chain or other related field
