Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Solutions
The Senior Manager of Supply Chain Solutions leads the department whose mission is to yield significant organizational value in the area of decision making through the application of advanced analytics and business intelligence. We achieve this by taking a well-balanced approach in leveraging People, Process, and Technology. The Training team will conduct frequent cross-functional training and assessment on both process and technology to ensure consistent and high-quality results from across the team. The Supply Chain Engineering and Technology team will design and implement continuous improvement solutions by applying advanced analytics modeling and process engineering techniques, while partnering with IT to deliver best-in-class data tools and innovative supply chain technologies.
Essential Functions
- Serves as the chief liaison and champion between Information Technology and Supply Chain, with responsibility for long-term road mapping from the business side
- Provide strategic vision and leadership for a team of highly technical analysts and engineers
- Spearhead technical thought leadership in the space of advanced analytics and business intelligence
- Manages and develops strategies for providing actionable business analytics insights to all internal clients in a shared services environment
- Sustain trust and commitment from all senior Supply Chain leaders across the functional areas of Inter-Logistics, Intra-Logistics, Procurement, and Planning
- Facilitate collaboration across all supply chain functions to prioritize improvement opportunities
- Design, monitor, and maintain service, cost, and operational key performance indicators and dashboards
- Enable a new understanding of business performance based on data and statistical methods
- Analyzes external market dynamics and other data sources to assess trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to leadership team
- Uses data, statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision-making
- Lead in the design of system-wide solutions to minimize cost while achieving targeted service levels to customers
- Guide workflow design and optimization of all logistical systems utilized within the department
- Engineer and implement sophisticated solutions for intricate Supply Chain problems
- Revamp and install a robust cross-functional training regimen and assessment program
