What we're looking for:

Manage and Lead projects using software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology, in order to enable business to optimize the capabilities of SAP and other business systems. Spearhead the team in working with business users, functional and technical teams to ensure that business requirements can be supported by appropriate technical solutions. Plays a lead role in partnering with other functional managers and module SMEs/Experts to implement new initiatives within their team and department. Responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, maintaining and documenting automated highly complex business solutions. Responsible for contributing to the development of and assuring team adherence to the architectural standards of the department and for overcoming technical challenges. Effectively communicate with other development team members and demonstrate the ability to deliver quality results in a timely fashion.

  • Provide technical leadership in the development and support of Citrix’s technological application support infrastructure.
  • Independently develop formal recommendations and present proposals to leadership team.
  • Apply thorough understanding of processes, according to area of development, to the data requirements, automated business solutions, and integration issues.
  • Contribute to defining and enhancing application development standards. Identify new technologies that can be incorporated to improve the performance / usability and define implementation plan.
  • Lead and mentor mid-sized teams in technology areas in ways that comply with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices.
  • Participate in longer-range resource and operational planning, and coordinate with other business functions as necessary.
  • Lead discussions with Business Analysts and/or other members of their technical teams during requirements gathering and provide guidance on writing highly complex technical specifications.
  • Coordinate activities with team members for successful transition of application through development, testing, implementation and maintenance stages.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on workability of designs, architecture, and testing. Research and recommend solutions to client requirements.
  • As the primary point of escalation, assist in the design and development of internal tools, deployment solutions, and processes for the development team.
  • Focus on all functional components and ensure the team delivers technical solutions as directed by management, to achieve consensus and product a single result, and works with an awareness of related areas.
  • Design, develop and support internal tools, deployment solutions and processes to support the team’s development efforts.
  • Develop and take the lead in maintaining relationships and integrating activities with other teams to ensure successful implementations of company and department wide projects.
  • Lead collaborations with cross-functional teams and contribute to group outcomes. Assume responsibility for individual and team assignments and software development projects.
  • Act as mentor to team members to accomplish development tasks.
  • Lead efforts in the design, development, and implementation stages of the system development life-cycle including analysis, design, coding, documentation, testing, implementation, and training.
  • Write well-commented code and adhere to naming conventions. Review code against established standards and ensure team and own compliance.
  • Review the team's documentation of important flows / processes for modules and projects assigned.
  • Ensure timely communications with internal customers or business analysts when diagnosing and resolving support problems.
  • Support and review production applications to ensure the stability of applications and appropriate access to data in the production environment.
  • Consolidate weekly status reports based on team input to inform management of project status, estimated completion dates, and any other issues for management attention.
  • Oversee the integrity of updates to the enterprise project management tool.
  • Troubleshoot a wide variety of complex problems and identify solutions within broad applications and functional expertise.
  • Coordinate and support QA and UAT for enhancements and productions fixes.
  • Perform other duties as required.
