What we are looking for
You are a Senior Software engineer with 7+ years of experience building cloud services and distributed systems. You have gained hands on programming skills and have extensive knowledge of programming constructs, data structures, algorithms and scripting languages/framework (PowerShell/Python/Bash). You have a solid understanding of windows development, debugging, administration and automation frameworks, deployment, monitoring, scaling, debugging.
Position Overview
As a Cloud Core team member, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, supporting, improving and innovating tools, standards, and systems to automate cloud cost forecasting, spend tracking, and implementing efficient usage of Cloud services. You will also participate and engage with product SRE teams, Product Engineering Teams, and Finance Teams to understand and support their needs and initiatives. You will be responsible for understanding utilization of cloud resources and their impact on cloud spend. With an increased focus on Cloud Provider spending and Operational costs, the team is able to help Citrix execute on delivering a (SaaS) at a lower cost, thus increasing profits to the company and shareholders. Every cloud engineer is responsible for the availability, scalability, security, performance, cost, and compliance requirements of Citrix cloud services.
