Seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer, with a strong systems background, for our Cloud Platform & Automation (CPAT) team, to work on exciting projects building robust and automated platform across multiple hyperscale cloud providers. We streamline deployments using modern DevOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code, empower users through self service portal.. Scope of Responsibilities:
Design, develop and manage Cloud Platform ecosystem in Azure, AWS and more…
Execute POCs, migrate/setup application workloads on Azure and AWS
Establish devops tools/practices for cloud infra management at scale - monitoring, logging, configuration mgmt, security
Eliminate toil, by standardizing and automating operational and security processes/procedures
Extend and improve Infra-as-Code framework to provision and configure, with CI/CD pipeline
Collaborate with the security team to improve the security posture, including the technical enforcement of policies and guidelines
Gather requirements,analyze and prepare workflows that describe the logical flow of the applications and convert them into workable cloud solutions.
Perform Revisions or expansions on existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new technology requirements
Design and develop self service capabilities and portal to empower users
Guide team on technical issues and act as technical lead.
Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills.
Strong knowledge of infrastructure concepts and administration (Linux, Windows, DNS, Network, Firewalls and Security)
Development and scripting experience with demonstrable proficiency - Python, Java, PowerShell, NodeJS, AngularJS, etc
Thorough understanding of Infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools -ex. Terraform, Chef, Puppet,ARM, etc, and cloud delivery models
Engineering experience in building production infrastructure using code and repeatable designs
Deep curiosity in technology trends and proficient with MS Azure and AWS Compute and Platform services
Working Knowledge of SDLC/Agile practices - CI/CD pipeline, automated testing, code reviews
Self-motivated, team player who demonstrates initiative and flexibility.
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt, train others
Versatility and ability to be a catalyst for culture change
Self organized, ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks

Cloud Certifications (Azure, AWS)
