As an Application Security Analyst you have the chance to have a large impact on Motorola Solutions and its future. In this role, you get the chance to run application penetration tests, guide our developers and collaborate with your peers in order to improve the security of our business applications. You will be driving changes in the organization culture to include application security as an integrated mature and exciting process through automation, advanced tools and creativity. Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations:
You will be part of the application security team, helping to secure business applications related to Motorola Solutions
You will develop, support and maintain a comprehensive Security SDLC and CI/CD program to insure secure application delivery
You will work with business leads and developers to consult,educate test and verify secure design and secure application implementation
You will be using state of the art technologies and tools to perform code reviews, application Penetration tests, and manage Web Application Firewall
You will have the opportunity to define, develop and communicate Application Security training and awareness material
Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
At least 2 years of experience in the security field
Knowledge and experience in software development
Knowledge of common application vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP Top 10), attack techniques and remediation tactics/strategies.
Experience in providing technical security guidance to developers.
Should be a self-starter who demonstrates complete ownership over assigned objectives and is able to work independently with guidance from remote-site contact
