Job Description

The SaaS Platform Support Engineer's responsibilities include requirements gathering and definition, technical design and specification, development, testing, and implementation support. 

  • The primary focus of this position will be in a support capacity, and the candidate should be familiar with ITIL methodologies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for microservices integration platforms and related technologies
  • Participate in the design and implementation of project-based integration solutions in accordance with existing standards, the approved integration roadmap and industry best practices
  • Plan, design, enforce and audit in accordance with company security policies and procedures which safeguard the integrity and access to systems using multiple tool sets and software utilities to accomplish these tasks.
  • Review systems documentation, monitoring data and trends, corporate knowledge base, and recommend immediate and permanent problems remediation and resolution using automation where possible.
  • Create and maintain procedures and standards
  • Develop and maintain an integration component inventory
  • Research, develop and oversee integration governance best practices
  • Follow the change management procedures and policies
  • Develop Agile methodology and define Devops processes for integrations team
  • Respond to trouble-tickets via an internal application and/or phone reports.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent discipline,
  • Experience with Cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure
  • Knowledge of Linux platform and shell scripting
  • Experience in C / C++ programming
  • Knowledge of network protocols
  • Understand and/or experience using ITIL methodology.
  • Java, Python, Ruby, Kibana, ElasticSearch and PowerShell knowledge would be a plus.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal

  • Bachelors Degree and 3+ years of experience
