Job Description

The overall purpose of the position is to provide systems engineering support to the projects within the EMENA region.

The role will be to provide technical assistance in the delivery of a range of multidisciplinary projects that involve Telecommunications -TETRA /ASTRO P25, RF, IT Networking and Civil Engineering.

Basic Requirements

Basic Requirements:

• Knowledge of the Telecommunications environment including Wireless Technologies, WAN networking, IT system integration (IT Infrastructure, IT Security).
• Experience with LMR communication solution (TETRA/ASTRO P25/DMR) ASTRO P25 is highly desirable.
• Highly professional and self-motivated.
• Ability to work productively and effectively with little guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Engineering (University degree or equivalent education in Radio Communication Technologies) preferably in Electronic/Radio Telecommunications or IT Engineering.

Main responsibilities:

• Working directly with external and internal clients.
• Developing and producing designs and technical specifications.
• Responsible for EMENA (Europe, Middle East and North Africa) region, long- and short-term assignment to different projects.

• Individual project planning, handling and result oriented working style.
• Ability to work in multicultural, international working environment.
• Technical, analytical and interpersonal skills required.
• Knowledge of VoIP implementation and support.
• Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a business environment.

What foreign language skills are required, if any?

Sovereign in conducting negotiations and good command of English language, verbally and in writing

Is traveling required?

Willingness to extensive and frequent, several days lasting business travel within entire region (up to 50% of time)
